Adobe is once again running a unique contest in search of the next Photoshop Evangelist, one person who has the talent and know-how to teach and take Photoshop worldwide. The winner will receive full copy of CS5.5 Design Premium plus the time with the Photoshop Team, and an all-expenses paid trip to Photoshop World. To enter, they’re asking that the contestants upload a two-minute or less video demonstrating some a lesser known feature or workflow of Photoshop, and each video need to mention Hidden Gems.
The Photoshop World is designed to help boost your skills and take your career to the next level. The three-days of training with classes from the brilliant and renowned experts in the field of Photoshop is definitely a once-in-a-lifetime and awesome experience.
In case you are unfamiliar with the coveted title- Adobe Photoshop Evangelists are folks who travel around the world “preaching the Photoshop gospel” and educating the masses with tips and tricks for the software, like Bryan O’Neil Hughes.
The contest is only open all individuals age 18 years or older who are citizens of the 50 U.S. states, Washington D.C., Canada, the U.K. or Germany. You can submit as many original videos using Photoshop CS5 as you like, just be sure to mention the phrase “hidden gem” in each (read the contest rules). The submission deadline is March 5th after which five finalists will be chosen by Adobe, and the grand prize winner will be selected by the Photoshop community on Facebook. All five finalists will be showcased by Adobe on YouTube Channel. So, show off your Photoshop skills and sharing abilities and you are very likely on your way to Photoshop World this year with awesome trip to Photoshop World and some instant fame to your name.
